Venus in Pisces
If there was any excuse to be in your feminine flow, it is definitely this week! With Venus in Pisces we will benefit from getting in our bodies and craving the pleasures of rest, playfulness and admiring the beauty in things.
TO DO THIS WEEK:
Exercise,
Be in Nature,
Make Love,
Dance,
Pick flowers.
The benefits of feeling more in-our-bodies (or embodied) is that we notice more of the sensations it experiences, like e-motion. In this time, it's important to give yourself permission and a private space to listen to and express these bodily sensations.
YOUR PRACTICE:
Cry,
Shake,
Make funny faces,
Scream into a pillow,
Attend a drumming circle or a singing circle.
Be places where you can release rigidity and be like water and flow.
The benefit of listening to your emotions and the feeling in your body, is that it communicates to you what you need or what you are neglecting or where you need balance.
WHAT'S IMPORTANT is to create a regular somatic movement practice or meditation space that you visit to just listen.
THINK ABOUT IT. The most common problem most people have in relationship is that "He/She doesn't listen to me". Now let me ask: "are you taking time to listen to yourself?"
START with this:
Come to a table top/ four point kneeling
5 rounds of cat-cow
Listen to your breathing
then begin to move your hips and shoulders in any direction
continue for 5 minutes
During this time your attention will jump out of your body, into a judgement but the practice is to bring it back to a 'listening' exercise.
Listen to your breathing, listen to where your body wants to stretch in to. No judgements, just listen.
